About Flatwater Ag
Your local seed partner in Hamilton County
Flatwater Ag was started with a simple goal: to serve local farmers with integrity. We believe faith should guide business, family should shape priorities, and the land should be stewarded with wisdom.
Partners You Can Count On.
Flatwater Ag is led by Derek Dibbern — a local farmer, agronomist, and business owner who’s as invested in your success as he is in his own. Whether it’s walking fields, developing agronomic plans, or matching the right products to your operation, Derek brings a hands-on approach backed by real-world experience.
Supporting Derek are Heath Trost and James VanHousen, both are qualified dealer sales representatives. Heath and James work closely with growers to ensure every acre performs, offering local insight on seed selection, product placement, and in-season management. Their boots-on-the-ground approach means you get timely recommendations, proven solutions, and support you can trust all season long.
At Flatwater Ag, we take pride in being more than just a supplier — we’re your local partners in profitability and performance.

A Mark with meaning
The cutthroat trout in our logo represents strength, adaptability, and resilience—qualities that drive our mission to empower farmers. The wheat symbolizes nourishment, a nod to the miracle of feeding thousands from small beginnings.Together, they reflect the balance of agriculture and faith that defines Flatwater Ag.
Serving Hamilton County
We’re proud to serve the farmers of Aurora, Giltner, Phillips, Hampton, and all across Hamilton County and beyond. Our commitment is personal, and our roots run deep in this soil.

"Farming is personal. It’s generational. It’s faith-driven. When we partner with growers, it’s not just about seed—it’s about standing beside you for the long haul."
